Multi-Battery Block Module Power Converter for Electric Vehicle Driven by Switched Reluctance Motors

چکیده

To improve the endurance and charging flexibility of electric vehicle battery packs, this paper proposes a multi-battery block module (MBM) topology for four-phase switched reluctance motors (SRMs), which not only allows flexible operation, but also achieves fast demagnetization excitation. By integrating photovoltaic (PV)panel into an asymmetrical half-bridge (AHB)converter, MBM is designed to supply multilevel bus voltage SRM drive. PV panel added charge packs when system stationary. According different operation requirements, multiple power modes can be realized by controlling devices in proposed topology. The simulation results based on MATLAB/Simulink platform experimental 8 / 6 motor verify effectiveness design.
